I'm running Windows 7, Winamp 5.65, just installed. I'm attempting to synch to a Droid Razr M, Motorola, with Winamp 1.4.11, just installed. My music files are on my laptop, and the point was to be able to transfer them to my cell phone. However, Winamp 5.65 cannot "discover" my phone, even though it is connected by a USB cable. In fact, when I click "discover" literally nothing happens.
But my laptop *can* see my phone. I have been able to manually copy over individual song files. It seems to me that if my laptop can see my phone, surely Winamp should be able to see it too! I cannot do the "mass USB file transfer" workaround, because Razr M's do not have that setting. How can I get Winamp to "discover" my phone? If this is impossible with the Razr M, can anyone tell me how to manually create the folder structure for a playlist that is recognized by Winamp on my phone *as a playlist*? I've only been able to manually copy over individual song files. Thanks for any help you can offer1 |

And here's why I care so much . . .
Yes, I could use another music app. BUT, I'd really like to use the app Zombies, Run! It's a couch to 5K app that has interval training with a interactive story/game that you play as you build up to run a 5K. It's super fun, but you have to play your own music in the background, and alas, Zombies, Run! on Android *only* works with Winamp.
Sigh. Highly recommend the Zombies, Run! app for anyone who really hates running and needs some extra incentive/joy to get out there and do it. But I guess, not if you have a Razr M. Still, if anyone can help me find an alternative way to create a playlist manually, I'd really appreciate it. |
