I must be having a 'female' moment; I guess I'm missing something easy and simple, but just can't see how to fix the problem of Winamp not maximising to the desktop again either from the task bar or system tray after I've minimised it. I'm now using 2.76, but this also happened with the previous version. Incidently I can see the playlist and graphic equaliser on my desktop, just not the main player. thanks for any help take care kiwi ![]() hotdog111@hotmail.com |

well first off, ctrl+w did not work, so I went exloring and by chance I found the problem. I had recently got the Title Bar Control plugin and wondered if that could be causing the problem, so I thought I would uninstall it, LUCKILY I uninstalled the wrong plug in LOL, I actually uninstalled the Nomad Control plugin, from Creative which had been residing in the General Purpose plug ins directory. Once this critter was gone then the main Winamp window behaved exactly as it should. What I wonder though is how did this Nomad plug in get in there and what does it do? Yes, I have a Nomad Jukebox player, but I don't recall having installed this Winamp plugin, and when selected I get a small screen which tells me its from Creative but no other info whatsoever, weird huh? I'm off to see what the nice folks @ Creative have to say ![]() take care all kiwi |
