Dude...Winamp 3 is public...right?

I've seen very many sites very many sites that offer Winamp 3 for download. I've looked at it myself, and believe me, it's definitely Nullsoft's (bah! AOhelL:-) great work. It's build 443, Winamp alpha 667. If this =isnt= a public release, then you (I'm assuming that Nullsoft is reading this) should be very careful.

If you need to know what it looks like, it has 3 buttons (Media Library, Playlist, Equalizer) not 2, and there's something called a thinger.

i got 22 emails today in my AOhelL account today. All of it was AOhelL crap. ALL OF IT. Okay, that's exaggerating. One email was from a friend. ONE. Why did Nullsoft ever get bought out?

OK - Now I've heard it all.

OK toulouse, the fact that the development team advertises the download location, and posts the list of download sites on their personal web locations usually means its publice. Also, the fact that Nullsoft sponsers this forum should be another clue for you. All you have to do is read a few topics in the forum and you'll figure it all out.

its a alpha though.
which means its really buggy. it will probably crash more than once.

Next time you make a post will you please do some research. And if you ever installed WA3 I'm pretty sure it mentions it's an alpha.
