I have two questions.
1.) I am currently using the Winamp pluging--"JackAmp" to get scratches and other undesirable noise out of my MP3 files--but I'm not to happy with it. Im wondering if there is anymore Freeware out there (Im a starving student--again) that does a better job. 2.) I use "MP3 Trim" to cut the beginning or end of my files if there is allot of dead time--or whatever you call it. I did a couple of files and it worked great, but then I tried a 8 min., file and it told me it was to long and that if wanted to do it I would have to register the software which of course costs money I dont have. (Read above) So I was wondering if there was another program to do the job? Thanx for your help. |

1) JackAmp is as good as it gets.
2) I think MP3 Tag Studio can do MP3 trimming. If not, you can always decode the MP3's to WAV, edit them in windows' Sound Recorder and reencode them to MP3. |
