Dear Winamp & Shoutcast Users,
As part of Microsoft's ongoing goal of improving Xbox Music, we believe the purchase of Winamp and Shoutcast to be a key move by us. Winamp will be updated to have a metro interface, and the desktop version will have Xbox Music added to it. Furthermore, Shoutcast will be integrated with Xbox Music allowing for the ability to listen to one of the 500,000+ Shoutcast stations. A special team has been formed to oversee the development of Winamp and Shoutcast, more info on the development team will be made available at a later date.
