My Solution
I found a solution to this which works for me, but I can't speak on if its going to work for others, but I thought I'd let you guys know in case it does.
In the install folder for WinAmp there's three executables. winamp.exe winampa.exe Elevator.exe To get mine working I set all of these as "Run as Administrator" and for winampa.exe also set it in compatibility mode for XP Service Pack 3. Robert's your mothers brother. Restart your PC afterwards just to make sure all the processes that were running are dead, and the newer elevated priority ones have taken there place. |
