Relay breaking up from source
I have a relay server set up to relay stream from studio server to listeners. For some reason 1-3 times a week the relay stops and never tries to come back live again though I have set the relayconnectretries to be 100000. I see the following lines in error log:
2014-11-19 06:17:53 INFO [RELAY <ip>:8000/radiofm128 sid=1] Connecting to source relay... 2014-11-19 06:17:53 INFO [RELAY <ip>:8000/radio128 sid=1] Disconnected from SHOUTcast 1 source relay. 2014-11-19 06:18:14 ERROR [RELAY <ip>:8000/radiofm128 sid=1] Connection failure. My config file looks like this: unique=radiofm portbase=80 logfile=C:\SHOUTcast2\stations\$\logs\sc_serv.log w3clog=C:\SHOUTcast2\stations\$\logs\sc_w3c.log banfile=C:\SHOUTcast2\stations\$\control\sc_serv.ban ripfile=C:\SHOUTcast2\stations\$\control\sc_serv.rip ;screenlog=0 ;microserverdebug=1 ;logclients=0 maxuser=2000 publicserver=never allowrelay=0 ;password=xyz adminpassword=xyz streamid=1 streampath=/ringfm streamrelayurl=http://<ip>:8000/radiofm128 relayconnectretries=100000 Do you have any ideas why the relay connection retry mechanism is not working in this case? To get the radio working again I have to restart the service manually. |
