Recover corrupted playlist
Hi Everybody!
On the wonderful first day of this year I tried to open up my favorit music player (WinAmp and it kept on crashing... So I back-up my default playlist, andre-installed Winamp. The newly installed version was running fine, but when I loaded back my previous playlist, I found out, that the last ~1000 tracks are missing!?! ![]() So i opened it up in a txt reader and i found very strange characters, instead of the regular lines. Example taken from the current list: #EXTINF:293,Fred V & Grafix - Denmark Road I:\Mp3\Drum & Bass\fred_v_and_grafix-denmark_road.mp3 #EXTINF:253,Metrik - Out of the Fire I:\Mp3 MV€—_Oé˙)ΩI‡">5ß\yő7˛učé*Ż7aľ,ŇĆš`t¤GŔě Fłż™JRŻB Źg9?ýP/kÚ´Ţ/ŹűűĽZS?ßm€ŕń:#2ŘAcűqŽXň@Ŕ„ So, how can I decode, or recover the missing part of my playlist? Did anyone encountered such a bug? Thank you for your kind help in advance!

unless you've got backups of the playlists there's nothing that can be done other than to manually re-build the playlists since they've been corrupted and what you've posted cannot be converted back to anything sensible.
