Well, the first one is that it doesn't play any songs from CD's. Second is that when I go to add my directory of songs, the songs come up correctly, but then some files called macster.dat show up too. E-mail me if you know what is wrong.

hopefully someone can help you out, but winamp for the mac is in a *very* developmental form and there's no official support. this also means not so many people use it and so those familiar with it and troubleshooting it are few and far between. i, for one, can't help you, but i'm glad to see mac users trying to use winamp, and i hope it will be as a great a prog for the mac as the pc... someday!

I have 1 old Power mac 7500/100 (90 megahertz), and I use it all the time for monitoring my SHOUTcast station! It's got several bugs, but there are easy workarounds for them. I'm glad I have something to feed my Mac listeners to make sure they can listen, appearantly iTunes doesnt work very well!
BTW, I am not a mac user, and the only reason I have this one was because it was cheap ($20)! With so many PCs in my house, I have no need for a mac. |

Winamp:mac was never finished. In fact it hasn't been updated for almost two years now.
