How to clean the defult playlist?

Hi, I use Winamp more than 10 years, and I've never met this situation.
Whenever I install Winamp, there will be an intro sound track by DJ Mike Llama in the playlist.
I can replace it and add my own music in the playlist, and if I want to stop listening for a while, I can simply close the program and leave. Next time when I want to go back keep listening, I can open Winamp again and still have the SAME playlist I left. That's how Winamp works for me for the past ten years.
However, I found this time since I rebuilt the system, Winamp always shows the intro DJ sound track ONLY. Any new songs I added won't replace it, and even worse, Winamp won't keep my left playlist. I've re-installed the program again, but in vain. I really need help solve this problem, it's really annoying, but I didn't want to change to a new music player yet.
Thank you!!

Winamp version: 2.8 (I like the simplicity.) OS: Windows 7 Pro.

Well, you ain't getting any help here, because Winamp 2.x support is dropped. Also, it's much better to move onto the newest one (5.666), and you can always install the basic functions so it runs fast.
