Virus report for nsis-3.0b2-setup.exe
Hi.
I downloaded nsis-3.0b2-setup.exe but ClamAV and other antivirus programs reports that it contains malware. Should I be worried? Will this error propagate into generated installers? https://www.virustotal.com/sv/file/f...4150/analysis/ Cheers Johan |

It is not uncommon for installers that contain nsisdl and dialer to be flagged, this is probably where the McAfee-GW-Edition false positive comes from. ClamAV even seems to flag example1.exe.
These false positives can also be reported for your generated installers, the only thing you can do is to report the bug to the AV vendor... Same problem with NSIS 2.46
Hello together
I got the same problem with the NSIS 2.46 installer used by Silverjuke. ClamAV reports that it has found the virtus Win.Trojan.Win32-2 ... I reported this false positive to the corresponding formular on ClamAV's homepage and I hope the NSIS installer will be "virus free" soon. Best regards Björn |
