Yeah jcnyct, same thing I noticed - an intro ad when I connected to my stream this morning. Glad I'm not the only one. Pretty f'd up when I'm proclaiming to be commercial-free & listener supported. Gonna be time to go 100% Icecast if this doesn't get a resolution.

Same issue here. I created a new Authhash NOT using the SHOUTcast RMO and no more roll out ads.

I used a pre 2.5 version of the DNAS that I installed on my Windows desktop. This is also an issue with connections from Tunein as there is a 30 second delay in the connection to allow for the Tunein roll out to play before SHOUTcast inserts its roll out. When listeners connect at a time where Tunein is not playing a roll out, the listener gets 30 seconds of dead air.. some disconnect thinking that the station is down.

WOW - shoutcast just screwed us big time.
I don't use the Shoutcast hosted version.. I use 3rd party provider. This is going to be a BIG problem with stations listed on TuneIn Radio.. TuneIn also has an AD playing before you connect to stream.. now with Shoutcast doing the same.. it won't work ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm also using a 3rd party host which has 2.5 installed thus the need to create the hash elsewhere. I agree this could become a major issue.
