Better Buttons

Hey what's up I need a little help. I downloaded the quick skin program for making skins. i got a pretty cool nelly skin made, but all i can do is put a picture in and change the colors. and the buttons are just regular buttons. Is there any way i can update or change these buttons so theyre not so gay? If not, does anyone know any other programs i can download that will give me more control? Thanks.

get a decent graphics program like Paint shop pro or photoshop... or gimp or...
