Get Real Media Producer, http://www.real.com

A warning though, It is never a good idea to go from one loosey compression to another (MP3 to RM), there will be a loss of quality.

I can't convert it unless I get the Real Producer Plus...I'm not gonna go buy it just so I can make rm files in one sitting and never use it again...I need something that's quick and easy and free.

You'll have to convert the MP3 back to WAV first.
You can do this by using Winamp's DiskWriter Output plugin, or use a dedicated program such as CDex Ripper (freeware)
Then convert the WAV to RM using RealProducer Basic.
