Hi i have a big Problem...
On my Windows (WinME) have I install a new Soundcard SB Live! Value and now if i want to play a MP3 File my System Crash... On the Secure mode (or somthing like that i dont know whats the english name for this is) i´ve getting an error Message about "MMSYSTEM002" and that is a problem with my Hardware-Id!(I post the german content: MMSYSTEM002 Eine der verwendeten Geraete Id´s lieg ausserhalb des zulaessigen Bereichs ihres Systems.) I´ve tryed to Uninstall all Winamp registrys and the folder... and after the re-install i´ve the same Problem... PLZ Help me and say me what can i do... I need Winamp to stream... |

Sorry but i´ve tested all hints from theother topics... But in the moment it doesn´t works...I try to specific my Problem:
I have a Pentium Celeron 566 MHz 198 MB Ram WinMe (Updated from 98 SE) and the Error Message only comes in the Secure Mode or Save Mode or something else and in the normal mode my system crash... and Options--->Preference DirectSound plugin 2.0 let crash my system in the normal mode too... i have the problems after try to install my SB Live! Value but, i have tryed to return all Sound Settings to the same as it before (to the Onboardsoundcard) trying install the SB Live! and then the problem was the same...PLZ if you can Help me! (sorry about my bad English.) |

YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! THX it works with the Version 2.64 wihout any Problems!!!!! Eventually a bug with the SB Live!Value in the latest Winamp Version?

It's strange how 2.64 works ok, but not 2.76
![]() Just for the record, this particular problem has got nothing to do with the MMSYSTEM002 Error, because everyone will get that error when they try to play audio files in SAFE MODE. Only basic generic drivers are loaded in Safe Mode, not soundcard & videocard drivers or Audio/Video Codecs. Safe Mode is for troubleshooting Windows bootup errors only. Anyway, if you're happy with using v2.64 . . . then fine
