Dynamic vs static IP

Thanks for the suggestion but there should be no reason why I cant use a dynamic IP address. The Shoutcast system should be able to cater for it as the server registers itself with Shoutcast as it starts up (this should result in the correct new IP address being delivered from the web site).

I still think it is a bug as on analysing the responses to the GetStreamURL call it is responding with a very old IP address (probably the one in place when I first set it up). Then after a day or so it gets it right with the current IP address then a day or so later reverts back to an invalid IP. If I switched to a static IP I would still have this problem as I'm deducing I would need to delete & re-create the radio stream otherwise it would just keep randomly reverting back to an invalid IP (it doesn't "know" its static or dynamic just what the address is).
