Two streams with same Station ID Problem

Hi,

I have old stream runnind at 320kbps which I am moving to a new server with additional bit rates, so on the new server I have 1 x 320 stream, 1 x 128 stream and 1 x 64 stream.

The 128 stream and the 64 stream both have their own seperate Station ID's and appear in the Shoutcast Directory and work fine.

The 320 stream on the new server has been issued with the same Station ID as the old server and for some reason the new server stream does not show on the directory, even when shutting down the old server.

I'm guessing that the problem is that 2 servers have been issued the same Station ID.

Can someone help..?

Brian

Station is Enco Radio UK

I am yes, the 64k stream and the 128k stream are all fine and in the shoutcast directory however the 320k stream refuses to update in the directory and still points to the old server.

Losing listeners now because the stream won't update

The log files were showing correct updates for the yp server - but the stream was now being updated resulting in a stream cannot be played error. Strange because when I click on the download arrow next to the play button it would play fine with the new server address.

This is an issue because I have not regained the listeners I had, as I have added the station again as Enco Radio instead of Enco Radio UK and it works now but with next to no listeners unlike before.

Zero response from Shoutcast in nearly a fortnight
