I have added an album cover to one of my songs, but winamp for some reason also adds the same cover to multiple files. I can't get it to just add the cover to ONE mp3 without it adding it to a number of them. Every time I try to delete the cover, it deletes the cover from all of them. It's very annoying

easiest fix is to delete all folder art and use mp3tag to delete all embeds from the files in that folder. then, when no artwork shows in either winamp or mp3tag, use mp3tag to embed the art (one at a time to start anyway), and use winamp after to refresh the file art and see if it shows. u want to use an embed type winamp recognizes.

(also configure mp3tag to show folder art as well)

It is freeware and is quite popular. You were informed of the 'easiest' fix, however, too bad you were not pointed to a winamp solution. You should have been informed there isn't one, THEN be informed of alternate software.

I don't use embeds myself much, but I think winamp can natively embed art, and if it can't, it can be made to using a plugin by Thinktink (I think).

However I do believe what I laid out is the easiest, and most fail safe, method.
