Is the Winamp3 gonna be buyable in stores?
Is Winamp 4 going to come out in 2010?

settle down! you have way too much on your mind. i'm pretty sure that winamp 3 will be freeware, i could be wrong, but don't sweat it until it anything actually happens. and who mentioned anything about a wa4??? let's at least see how wa3 comes out.

Have I missed something? What Beta? I'm using Alpha 667 from 6/28.

What's done is super, but how am I to judge the Beta or the v1.0 release? Many of the nifty features are sure nuff nifty, but after all is said and done, what I'm after a jukebox that reliably (and quickly) reads, edits and organizes my music directories (rock, classical, wife's, daughter's), files, and playlists. I also need to output to CD form with CD skins, too, and it would be nice to automatically tag files with the right dates and Billboard rankings. I'm after these things more than "nifty", and none of this is done yet!!! To be sure, this "mundane" stuff won't fly without "nifty" either, and I'll love the combination even more.

So far, an A+, but to paraphrase Patton - fame and enthusiasm can be fleeting.....
