I suppose you meant "increase", but I still don't quite understand the question. Hmm . . . or did you mean "compress" . . . as in making them smaller? |

thks to all the one that replyed on my question,but i didn't need other questions bk
one more time: i have mp3 files but they are to big (..Mb)to put on my webpage. I have 1 song that is in wav format and only 735 kb.It is the compleet song. My question is,how do i make the songs i have smaller ? thanks |

Ya mean RIFF WAV, yes?
AIFF is a totally different format. Another option is to encode the WAV to MP3 In the CDex preferences -> encoder tab, select the smallest possible bitrate, eg. 8kbps, 8,000Hz, mono -or- for a slightly better quality: 2kbps, 11,025Hz, mono. You can also select the MPEG->MPEG method to resample/re-encode your MP3's to a lesser bitrate/samplerate, thus making the final file size much smaller. |
