Mcafee Help

This isn't unlike typical Mcafee behavior. I've had several people bring their new PC's (how come so many stupid people by "CompUSA Brand" PCs? aggghhh) into my shop and tell me they updated their McAfee virus protection and the machine wouldn't fully boot after that

. I dont know that you can really "fix" it. You might want to try and boot safe mode, if you can get in via safe mode uninstall the POS right away, reboot again, and pray. The best advice anyone can give another person reguarding McAfee is, don't use it; it's a hunk of garbage. What really fries me though is that even when someone gets it installed without it killing their OS, alot of viruses seem to get past it

. Find a copy of Nortons

(or whatever you want, but I've had a great track record with Norton's)
