What programs are good for making skins?

I really need help making a winamp skin...I'm trying to make a FF9 skin...using.....

...MSpaint!!
Somebody help me before I go crazy while trying to move the little cursor around the page!!! I NEED HELP!!!!!!

Please! BEFORE I GO INSANE!!

Try downloading the Paint Shop Pro demo from Jasc. Should be findable at their website or on any shareware site. That should be enough to get you through your skin.

www.adobe.com (photoshop)
www.gimp.com (gimp)

Paintshop and Photoshop are evaluation downloads, but gimp is free.

Btw, BabyBoy, id like to see some of ur skins, too.
