Playing playlist from where you left off

I want to use Winamp for an in-car MP3 player. Is it possible to get Winamp to start and to continuing playing the track that it was playing when it was last powered up from the position in the track that it was at just before it was last stopped?!!

In other words, when you play a tape or CD in a car player, and switch the engine off it stops the tape or CD. When you next start the engine it starts the tape player or CD player at the point where the it stopped.

Nope.

There might be a plug-in for it, but in your case if you turn off the engine the system would loose power and any plug-in wouldn't have a chance to do its thing.

Besides, if you are making a car based MP3 player, DON'T use windows, the constant improper shutdowns will eat it, plus the long boot time.

Use a DOS based system
