Crash While Using IE 6
I've been using IE 6 for about two days now and I've had nothing but problems while running winamp with it. After about 10-20 page views during a session, I will try to access another page, as soon as the page begins to load the music stops playing and the computer freezes. I know this is more of a M$ problem, but I doubt they'll get around to fixing it for a while, so I thought I'd submit it here as well
Running: Win98SE Athlon Classic 850 256MB of ram Nvidia GF2/GTS SB Live! Value IE 6 and Winamp 2.76 |

IE eats too much RAM...
Use Mozilla, Opera, or something, but not IE - It sucks... Microsoft sucks too... - All these Bill Gates things are suckin'

1) Delete GEN_NOMAD.DLL from Winamp's plugins directory.
2) Roll-back from IE6 to IE5.5. |

Reverted to IE 5.5 but I did not locate the Gen_nomad file to which you referred, could this be a problem? have also reinstalled WA and am now doing a quick defrag and virus scan

Gen_nomad.dll is a file typically installed when you install the Playcenter package that comes with SBLive soundcards. It's extremely buggy and basically causes Winamp to be constantly throwing fits and being eccentric in general.
