Winamp 2.76 and previous, eating my mem!
Running w2k pro, winamp increases memory usage by 30k/s! And theres no end to it. Winamp then becomes invisible in tasklist and no processes are shown, it's a perfectly blank page where there should be lots of processes. Is this a known bug, or does my system nead a reinstallation? Help me I hate using mediaplayer to listen my music.

If you have Gen_Nomad.DLL, delete it.

I'm running W2k pro(SP2) too (with Celeron 400 320Mb SDRAM SBLive)
And Winamp (2.76) increase its memory usage by 8ko/s (very anoying after 8h of playing!!! = 225Mo!!!) i have already compleatly un-install and re-install Winamp and delete Gen_Nomad.DLL(it's nice now Winamp doesn't shut down by itself!!!!) everything else works correctly so i don't understand why. Can you help me ? or correct it in he next version of Winamp..... Please!!!!! |

There are ZERO memory leaks in Winamp on any platform, any leaks would be from a plug-in
