am I crazy or does the repeat button do nothing?

I've done ever thing I can think of but I've never been able to get winamp to repeat. Wheather it is a single song or a whole playlist it just wont repeat. Is that button there just for looks or what?? Its driving me insane. All I want to do is be able to listen to one song for a bit before I go to bed.

Let me clarify a bit what my problem is before I go to bed. Winamp will only play one song at a time. Once the one that is playing is finished it stops. Then I have to double click on the next song. Is there any way to make it just keep playing? Hope someone can help.

Make sure that the option "Manual playlist advance" is not checked. Press CTRL + P => "Options" => uncheck the box "Manual playlist advance".

The repeat button is designed to repeat the whole playlist, not a single file. The only way you can get a particular song to play over again is to erase all tracks from the playlist except the one that you want, and turn on the repeat option. Bear in mind that the repeat option will only work if the next option is checked.

Solution as Kaboon said; in winamp, go to preferences (CTRL-P) -> options and uncheck "Manual Playlist Advance"
