how do i make winamp my default cd player?

windows media player always opens up when i play cd's, and that sucks resources like a mofo! I need winamp to the rescue! but how do i make it the default cd player?

Try 'file associations' <- probably not right spelled, but I'm tired and stupid right now.

To help JNS a bit ( ), press CTRL + P => "File Types" and press "Select all". And to also associate with audio CD's also check the option "associate with audio CDs"

You can also enable the "Winamp Agent" to maintain that file associations. CTRL + P => "Agent" check "Enable Winamp Agent" and "Maintain file associations". This program will alway run in the background and prevent that other applications "steal" back the file association.
