Shoutcast Voice-Over
OS: WinXP Final Corporate Version
CPU: AMD 1 GIG RAM: 512MB SOUNDCARD: SB Live X-Gamer 5.1 VIDEO: GeForce2 DDR 64MB Problem: I'm use Spacial*Audio (SAM) with Winamp as my player and the latest Shoutcast DSP with DSP Stacker. In my recording volume control, I've modified it so that Master Control is what's checked and it's recording out of it. In the Player volume control, I've added Microphone and left it unchecked. I adjust the sliders accordingly in the DSP and my music plays fine. Voice-overs work also as long as I'm playing a song and push a the 'Push to Talk' or the 'Lock' button. I know this sounds confusing but this is my basic question: When I'm play music in Winamp and I click the 'Push to Talk' or the 'Lock' button, the sound adjusts accordingly and I can voice-over. HOWEVER, whenever I want to talk, without any other music playing, I'm trying to make Winamp 'play' line:// (for the microphone input) and it won't pickup my voice. (I believe it's because in the Player volume control, the Microphone volume is all the way down unless I click on 'Push to Talk' or 'Lock' which fades in the volume). However when this happens, And I'm able to talk the microphone echo's repeatedly. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? If so, do you know what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it? Thanks in advance, FL- |
