controlling winamp with special keys

ok, i would like to be able to control winamp with the multimedia buttons on my keyboard. I got it set up so i could use winamp in games by using CTRL+SHIFT+[Winamp Control] using the hotkeys plugin. Unfortunately the program for my keyboard will not let me define a button as certain keystrokes, I can only link to a file (yes its shitty, i know). So, what i was wondering is if winamp has any program switches i can use to control it (EX: C:\winamp.exe /b, would go to the next track) or if there is some plugin i could use to do this? Or, is there some windows command i can do to mimic keystrokes? ANY hint of help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using win2000 if that info is needed.

huh?

I was really trying to find a FREE solution. I know a better keyboard would solve my problems, but so would a simple plugin or windows command that I don't know.

Similar problem here.

I have a Memorex Multimedia Keyboard MX2750 and cannot control WinAmp 2/3 with it. I even re-programmed the Next/FF key to perform 'B' and still didn't work. I have a feeling the problem may be in WinAmp!?!?

Any suggestions, solutions or inputs?

Regards,
MadMed
