Using cordless mouse as remote

I have a Logitech cordless mouseman adn it strikes me that it could make an ideal winamp remote control - roller for volume, left and right as advance tracks, thumb button as stop etc.

Are there any plugins that would allow me to do this?

i know this post is old, but i just got a Logitech cordless optical trackman trackball and i was thinking the same thing...anyone got one?
