Im New!!!!!

hello everyone,
im new to this forum thing, i am also new to skinning. i havent made any skins yet because i dont have photoshop or any other program like that. i only have Paint. well, if anyone reads this, please reply with what program you use, and where i can get it for free. if you want, you can include tips for starting. i would really appreciate if you reply. thanx!

welcome to skin love

firstly, your best bet for a drawing type program is either paint shop pro, by jasc software , you can download the trial software from ,there paint shop pro 7

or you could go for the photoshop route, a program by adobe, which i personally use

,(trial download here) each program has its benefits and downsides, usually once youve got used to one, you will prefer it over the other, many people her prefer paint shop pro, whereas some like adobe photoshop better, but the choice really depends on how easilly you find the programs

A program raydream missed is GIMP, ok it ain't that kewl like Photoshop but it's free and does the same like PSP/photoshop...it's worth giving it a try

i wanna thank you all so much for the great welcome and for the recommendations for the program to use. i really hope i can get started on this though, im gonna try out gimp first since its free, and later i will get paint shop pro from my friend.

and im looking forwards to building great skins!

well, im sitting here with no program to use. i downlaoded the wrong gimp so i gave up on that. i tried MS paint but i cant take it. any suggestions?

OMG yall i have a great idea for a skin!!!!!

OK...

for the little bar things at the top, the ones that react to the sound, well, for that, i can do like, a pumpkin and like the pumpkins mouth could be like wide open, and thats where that will be. for the thing that says "it really whips the llamas ass", well can put like a wich on a broom and the broom stick will be the line that says "it really whips the llamas ass" for the kbps and the khz, that can be like in a black cat. the mono/stereo could be in the cich's shoes. the the volume bar, the panning bar, the EQ button and the PL button could be in a dark cloud sort of thing!!! thats all i have thought of so far. someone please reply with your opinion about my idea and a suggestion!! im really exited cause this will be my first skin!!!!

well, im not stealing anyones thoughts, personaly i think its a good idea and it will develop from there. hopefuly. anyways, i have no way of making this skin cause i have no program to use. and no i am not going to download a damn trial thats 30 MB on a 56K for it to only last 30 days. im gonna wait till monday, my cousin is gonna give me photoshop.

hey yall, guess what
i finally got a program i can use to make my skins. GIMP! even though im still trying to figure out how to use some of the basic stuff, like how to make straight lines, i trust that it will soon be straightened out. hopefully i can make my first skin soon.

Auriferous, Gilt, Impulse, Nadir, and 2 others I can't remember but you dig.
