I can't make a skin!!!

I was reading the description of how to make a skin, and it says you're supposed to have these bitmap files for the parts of the base skin right? Well for some crazy reason I don't have them! I have the base skin and it works fine, but is there a reason why those files aren't in my Winamp directory?? Someone help me out here!!

Yes, the base skin is acctually contained within the main winamp program, so stricly speaking it dosn't acctualy provide you with a hard copy you can use.

You can get the default winamp base skin here as a seperate skin...

http://ftp.winamp.com/winamp/nsdn/baseskin.zip

Or an alternative template style amp can be found here...

http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.j...ponentId=71571

Further information on using the base skin, and what each component does etc etc can be found here...

Have you actually unzipped the skin yet? It is in a compressed form, and needs to be unzipped so you can 'see' all of the individual bitmap files. Try using winzip (www.winzip.com). There are others, but I can't remeber their names.
