NULLSOFT INSTALL SYSTEM v1.44 ERROR wont let me install winamp....HELP??

ive downloaded winamp from this site, downloads.com, and have got it off numerous friends....but everytiem i try to install it...i click on the install file and it says NULLSOFT INSTALL SYSTEM v1.44 ERROR "installer CRC invalid" and it wont open.....so..how can i get winamp to work on my computer??? PLEASE HELP ME!!! thanx

If you've tried from so many different places without luck, straight off the bat I would say you have a virus, possibly CIH.
