Songs starting 1 second in?

This only started happening with WinXP(was using 98SE). Is this a compatability issue or just a bug? It's not a huge problem, but it's kind of annoying when the songs jump right in. Any fix for this? Also I'm using Winamp2 2.77 Lite. I'd be using 3Beta if there were some EQ presets(to lazy to play w/ em

)

Sounds like a driver issue. Also switch to direct sound output instead

Thanks alot, the directsound switch fixed it. I also updated my drivers(shitty C-Media onboard audio) but it still skipped on waveout. Thanks again
