reading compressed .wav
When reading compressed .wav with the updated in_wave from Mr Peter Pawlowski, there are kind of "drops out", short holes of silence about every ten seconds... What can we do ?
With the normal 2.77 in_wave, it was impossible to read some compressed .wav (error message : Nullsoft Waveform Decoder v2.0 error - Unable to start playback. Missing codec or unsupported format). I am back again to Winamp 2.76 whose in_wave works perfectly in all cases. But I suppose that, for enjoying Winamp 2.77, a temporary solution is to replace 2.77 new in_wave file by the equivalent 2.76 file. Kind Regards. |

Why can't you follow the examples of the MOD bug thread and post some URLs to those problem .wavs so PP can fix them? Typical, b*tch about something but don't give the links to the file so that PP can fix it.

i suspect that this some combo of brain-damaged WAV writer + crappy ACM driver (smells kike Vorbis ACM using VBR in WAVs or something like that, i would be amazed if it actually didn't cause any weird problems). oh well. going offline, i'll be back on friday. :P
