Yup. Gotta love those games.
Thought of making a (non-retarded (which could be difficult for a retard like me)) ff2-skin or something.

Oh well. I'm going home for (late) lunch now.
Yummie. Pancakes.
Will probably start making the skin later on today.
(Doh, almost forgot, my fathers b-day, oh well, I'll probably get some time anyway)

Hurray, or something.

Hmm...I should probably use this opportunity to quickly show off my newly made FF3 skin...

I just finished it today, but I haven't uploaded it yet because the upload thingy is being weird. Ah well. Suggestions/comments?

I'm not accusing you of anything here, but the titles look at bit skinneresque. I think you'd do well to get rid of them and put something a bit more solid and try and find a decent font. I'm sure you could find a FF font. Try 1001fonts.com and/or do a search on altavista.

Other than that, it's pretty nice...

well...

The font in the title came directly from FF6. It really doesn't get more FF than that. But yeah, I can see why you'd say that. But it's one of those awkward things where anything else looks weird. Same happened with the cursors...

Hey!
I wish I hadn't seen that.
Now my mind is corrupted.
Nice skin, btw.
Just one thing - a little bit obscure with mog as buttons.. if you know what I mean.

Oh, right! I'm not a Final Fantasy fan, so I wouldn't know. They just looked a bit boring, but if they're on-topic (so to speak) I'm sure they'd be recognized by a diehard FF fan.

I think I know watcha mean, Jns, and I agree. You have to kinda get used to the buttons. But it's pretty simple. Left/right is forward/backward, dance is play, hit is pause, weak is stop... etc. But think about it, if the buttons weren't mog, where else would he go? Without mog as the C buttons, it just isn't moggy enough. I can never think of good ways to implement the control buttons in game skins. It's tough. Search the skins for Earthbound and look at my Saturnamp. It's a bit easier to tell what's what, but it looks kinda weird (as well as it may take a while to figure out that you click on Mr. Saturn instead of the little pic). In my current project (A FF3j skin), I'm planning to combine the two with semi-transperancyness.

Oh boy, I prattled on. Ah well. As a "sequel" to Mogamp, I'm planning on doing a kefka skin. Just so ya know.

Ah! More prattling! Phew.

Hey! Neat!

I'm in the last dungeon of FF6 right as we speak, so of course I recognized the font. And Mog's great! Kudos (or rather, kupos? ) on a very cool skin! That's a keeper!

Err.. Thanks. Although I usually expect my criticism towards me to be somewhat constructive; ah whatever.

Hurray! Is it just me, or do people only apprecieate game skins if they've actually played the game at hand? The only exception is the "I've never played this game, but the skin looks cute/nice/colorful etc."

*looks through skins folder* I have skins here for Chrono Trigger, FF8, FF6, and Harvest Moon. The first three I've played. Haven't played Harvest Moon, but Duk's skin for it is just a work of skinning art. So there's your exception. So generally, I think you're right. And more than being something you've played, it has to be a game you liked.

Forgot to mention in my last post, but I love the way you used magicite crystals as the eq sliders.

Are you going to make a Mikro for the skin? If not, with your permission I'd be glad to do it.

About to jump down the hole and head into the battle with Kefka... ^_^

I already made a Mikroamp today. I also made an Mbinner, so every last pixel is fully skinned! Woohoo! Download below.

I kinda was dissatisfied by the way the EQ turned out, so I'm glad you like it. You should've seen it before though, it was.. really bad.

I also have Duk's harvest moon skin. I don't like it as a normal skin because I don't like to guess what buttons are where and do what, but It's just so darn fun to play with. That's it for now...

Playing the game CAN be useful to understand the purpose of some details on the skin.
