How do i stop AVS running every time i play a song?

hi. Every time i play a song in winamp the avs window starts - so i shut it down. then i shut down winamp and start up winamp again and then i play a song and the window opens up again. how do i stop this happening so that it shuts down permanantly? hope u can help!

Go to preferences (CTRL-P) -> plugins and uncheck "autoexecute visualisation plugin on play".
