WinAmp locks in Windows ME

I started with a clean install of ME, ran all the updates, downloaded Winamp. Winapm played at first, then began locking fter playing for a period, now sometimes will lock as you try to open the eq, playlist, etc.

Is this something easy in ME to fix, or would a list of my components help?

There are no known Issues with Winamp and WindowsME, so the problem is on your end.

Run a virus scanner and scan disk, check for bad drivers

it has to be your computer cause im runnin windows ME and winamp 2.76 worked perfect, but in 2.77 it seems to lock up after awhile and a lot of my plugins do not work, so im just stayin with 2.76
