Icons for wa2.77

I know im getting out of date skin making wise but i have a question about making icons in winamp 2.77. Does the icons have to meet any palette requirements because i tried to upload a jpg. in my icon editor and save it as a winamp icon but it doesnt work someone please help me. Ill post the pic i want as an icon and tell me if it can be done.

Seriously though i need help on this. Since my thread was moved im just updating it. im working on a knight rider skin and i want all the cursors to be a finger i thought it would be kind of a funny touch to the skin.

Which one is it?, you start off by mentioning Icons, then in your second post your onto cursors?

Are you wanting to make custom cursors for your skin?

If soooo, get yourself a decent cursor editor...

Then check out the default names and uses for winamp cursors....

And finally, always remember to save your cursors as .cur, even if they are originaly animated ones in the .ani format, winamp will only read .cur

Its cursors sorry bout that i get a little confused but to the other guy thanx a lot it works fine.

On another note i just wanted an opinion of what u would think of my skin idea. Im doing a knight rider skin that will look similar to the dashboard of kitt and all the cursors would be a finger. Also ive added both the light from the front of the car and from the dash. Any comments would be much appreciated

Once you have a vague semblance of a skin (all parts skinned, but they don't need to be "complete"), just put it to gether so that it works and post it in the Share Your Skins Love forum here
