SHOUTcast.com does NOT provide servers, or server accounts to radio streaming stations.. All they do is provide a "public listing" of all the stations who have the "add to yp list" checkbox checked (just don't attempt to get listeners cause if you get any, they assume you're doing someting wrong and BAN you from the list for LIFE without a trial or explanation! - read above threads)

To aquire a server, you can either sign up with a service such as WARP Radio Network, shoutclub or live365.com... OR you can set up your OWN server- being that you have the bandwidth to support the number of listeners at the given bitrate that you wish.

Both these methods are not associated with SHOUTcast.com except that they MAY or may NOT accept your "calls to YP acks" which occurs when you have the "add to YP" checkbox checked and that you are casting (sending a stream)
