Making skins ?????

I am so lost on trying to make skins i have alot of good ideas but i just dont know how to make them i downloaded the base skin ad went through the skin pipeline andit didnt help can anyone try to help me

Use template amp. Its a lot better to use than the base skin

then what do i do if i have a picture i want for the backgroundi want te picture to cover up the mai and equlizer ????????

no offense intended to you, Lost, but you're going to have to apply a bit of common sense.

If you want it there. Put it there. If you don't know how to put it there, read some tutorials on how to use your paint program.

Which paint program are you using? try Paint Shop Pro at www.jasc.com

i get how to make the skin but i get everything lined up and tes it on my winamp there is blank white spots all over where i pasted my pic esp. in the equilizer and the part that shows the beat of winamp isnt there until you play the song
excuse any typoes my keyboard is going out

why don't you show us a screencap?
I'm not really sure if I understand your problem

but the visualization area appears only if winamp is playing. you can paint one on the main though.

Auriferous, Gilt, Impulse, Nadir, and 2 others I can't remember but you dig.
