"FMT" Chunk
I have .WAV files that WINAMP won't play because of a "waveform-audio file has no "FMT" chunk" error. What is a "FMT" Chunk and is there a way to repair these file so that I may play them using WINAMP. Is there anything I can do to avoid this error? Please help I really need these files. Thanks

what's the error message you got ? did you download the latest WAV plugin update ?

I have the latest Version of WinAmp 2.77. The error is "waveform-audio file has no "FMT" chunk". |

this is NOT an error from v2.77 WAV plugin. remove any third-party plugins, completely reinstall winamp, etc.

waveform-audio file has no "FMT" chunk".
I removed all other apps the play .wav files and reinstall winamp 2.77. I still get this pop-up error "waveform-audio file has no "FMT" chunk".

completely delete winamp directory and install again. did you get the plugin update i mentioned above ? can you post some of your WAV files here ?
