I have a HP omnibook XE3, and it have some buttons to play, stop, pause, etc the Media players, but it said that only work with something compatible with wm_appcommand. This buttons works well with Windows Media Player, but I don't want to use that thing and they are not working with winamp. I want to know if I can do something to use that buttons in winamp....

Hmmm, Hewlett Packard tends to add Microsoft-only compatible hardware to their systems . Obviously, these multimedia buttons your notebook is equipped with are only compatible with Windows Media (Player) applications, as the wm_appcommand - message suggests.

Try updating the driver software for those buttons, I pretty much believe that there must be driver software for those . Check HP's homepage and / or their technical support, maybe there's a version or an emulator available that lets other media players use it. Also check Winamp.com's plugin section for any general plugins that offer such an option to use HP's multimedia buttons.

Peace.
