confused
i'm confused, big surprise
today a friend of mine introduced me to a girl she thinks i should go out with she'd told this girl a lot about me (and apparently after she had the girl said two things: 1)you know a lot about him, and 2)he sounds to good for me [i swear to god, that's what my friend told me]) anyway, sorry, that tangent was just a bit of an ego booster for me, but back to why i'm confused: i met the girl, we talked for a while, then parted ways, and now i don't know what to do, wait for my friend to get back to me, call my friend and ask, I DON'T KNOW!!!! any advice? |

You forgot to tell us what you want.
![]() If you want to start a relationship with her, just call her. Don't have her number? Get it through your friend. |

Life is really short. Dont waste time, just call her. Why wait? Plus, if she has any interest in you, it will make her feel special that you wanted to talk to her so soon. Girls are all about emotion.

Ask her out. If she says no, hit her on the back of the head with a large rock, and leave.
What you do inbetween hitting and leaving is completely optional. Also, please feel free to rearrange any of those suggestions as you see fit. If you wanna hit her in the head first, and then ask her out, be my guest. |

JNS is a good bloke, I just wish he had a little mroe courage. Having said that, it took me about 2 months to summon up enough courage to ask my girlfriend out

if you had been around Backstage earlier this month, then you would have known about JNS been begged, pleaded, ordered and told to phone a girl that he rreally fancied to ask her out. As far as we know, nothing happened...

Have you ever seen one of those little toys
that you wind up and let it go. Every time it runs into something it turns around and takes off until it hits something else, then it takes off again. It just keeps bouncing off everything it hits but keeps on going? Back and forth and back and forth. Bless his heart, but that's what jns looked like trying to decide whether to call a girl. He wore all of us out.

I wonder if a sex change would help jns work up his courage.
you know what I mean, switching hands and all ![]() but I shouldn't be talking, every time a girl comes on to me I turn them down because I think they're faking it... |

Huehue: Bottom line, there are MANY fish in the sea. I believe in destiny and kharma. If this one didn't materialize, it's because another one's meant for you. It may take a while, but patience is a virtue. As Papadoc said earlier in the thread, "Be yourself". That's the kharma part. You'll attract compatible company only if you're YOU (and you did say you want a relationship --- it won't last if you're trying to be something that you're not).
Good luck. Doesn't sound like you'll need it though. From what I can tell, seems like you've got your head screwed on straight.

so he's a conflicted teen male, big deal
dont' say you never did something like that during your teenage years, being so unsure about whether or not to ask a girl out and i think my friend is avoiding the subject of what the girl thought of me. That can't be good news |

Let me admit this much.
I hesitated asking this one chick out for about a month. Turned out she was dying for me to ask her out and when all was said and done we realized, we had already wasted a month's time when we shoulda been bumpin' uglies. Never again will I hesitate in asking ANY girl out. If she says no, big fucking deal! You move on. Don't wallow in self pity over one girl's mistake. Christ, next thing I know someone's gonna be posting a thread saying that they want to give themselves a manual lobotomy with a .44 because some girl said no

hmmm
i finally got through to my friend and asked what the girl thought of me apparently she said i seemed like a nice person, what she'd expected, but that she hadn't talked me for that long i have no idea what that means, and can't ask my friend since she's now in exams and refuses to go anywhere near a telephone until the 29th |

The first time my current girlfriend came across me, I was unconscious, lying in my own vomit-orific filth, under a number of icky sticky blankets and jackets, at about 1am, after virtually skulling half a bottle of Beam. I don't know why, but she liked what she saw.
At parties, I usually end up finding a soft surface of some sort (if it's a mate's place, quite often the couch/foldout) and lying down. Apparently, according to the girl I was getting to know just as my current g/f started taking an interest, this is in some way attractive. My autism allows me to not give a fuck about pretty much anything, and as such I can quite happily sit (or sleep) in a corner somewhere, not caring if I get included in conversations or not. Conversations usually develop around me, as more and more party people get interested by the weird guy in the corner and want to check him out. Some of these people are girls, and some of them are more interested than others. Two of these, so far, have wanted to take things further. One I'm with at the moment, the other (according to my current) thought she could never be good enough for me (she apparently treats guys like shit, doesn't risk getting too close, etc), and just last month accepted her bf's marriage proposal. Someone tell me to shut up. No, not YOU. If YOU do, I'll hurt you. ![]() Does that make sense? Was I writing in English? Ubu mu gamuk sapi? What I'm trying to say is: I'm 20. Until about 6 months ago, I'd never had a girlfriend, much less ever had sex. I didn't look, and for a long time, I didn't find anyone because of this. But, because my gf took a risk and asked me out (actually, she kissed me, then she asked me out, then we fooled around, then she told her bf it was over, but whatever ), I'm with the person I should be with, and I didn't need to wade through a thousand messy, painful relationships to get to her.Not bad eh? ![]() -jaz "My heart hates uggos." –J.D. |
