Do not download this if you do not have an nVidia grapihcs card. It will crash your computer. Read the files that come in the zip.

(Someone posted this a while back and they thought it was a trojan because it was crashing computers.)

Personally, I thought it was super-cool. I've still got it somewhere on my computer. It's one of the files that was salvaged when my HDD died.

Neo was banned for this so why not Mr Insomniac7891?

What's this about nvidia only? I ran that the other year on my crappy Intel graphics card. So did a friend. Ran great.

They say that it won't run except on nVidia cards, I believe. I know it crashes on 3dfx cards.

Insomniac, they don't compress all the information. The bitmaps don't exist at all. They are created on the fly, by the program itself. The program has algorithms in it, and all additional information it needs to create the bitmaps.

The music is MIDI (or something similar). It would be huge if it was WAV, but it's not.

The camera angles . . . well, they are actually there, but I don't know how much info it takes to set a camera angle. Probably not a lot.

The program is still pimp.

Neo didn't actually get banned for this. I think he might have been temp-banned, though. They thought it was a trojan and locked the thread.

Thank you for not making me have to type that.

It ran perfectly on my S3 Savage4. Oh, it's not that it works only on NVidia cards, it's just that I think that's the card the developper used, so he can only give anything close to a guarantee of stability on that card because it was on that card that he worked out the bugs in The Product.

They pretty much guaranteed on the site that it would crash a 3DFX card instantly.

What? It's not harmful. It just crashes computers with 3dfx graphics cards.

Well, anyone who wants it can get it at http://www.theproduct.de/

Don't you think that qualifies for "harmful" ?

No. I wouldn't think of it being harmful unless it did actual damage.

If you want, you can remove my link. I just think that as long as everyone knows that they don't have a guarantee of stable operation except on nVidia cards, it's not a `danger`.

This file is so cool! I couldn't believe my eyes. The sound track is very good too. I dont know how they could possibly fit all that graphics and sound in a 64kb file only. Even if they render it real-time, there would be a hell lot of code. The file should not have been removed from the first post. But it dosent matter anyway, as anyone can get the file from the link provided.
