I tried Patience, Didn't work

I have tried to submit my skin over 20 times but it WILL NOT UPLOAD. I upload to other sites all the time (with no problems). What's with winamp.com, do you guys only accept uploads at DSL or Cable speeds? I am a 56k connection and I have tried disconnecting, reconnecting, and resending and that desn't work. If I don't get a response that actually works this time, I guess there will be one less skin you all will have to review.....or is that the whole idea?

Who is your Internet provider?

I send my files fine even with a 33.3K connection speed.
can you use your school computer to send it?

Simply save your file into your email and at school, download it and then upload it to winamp.

I also have a 33.6K connection speed. I have no problems connecting, downloading, or uploading from ANY other site on the web. I do not go to school, my school days were over a LONG time ago, so that's not an option for me. But I do appreciate your replies. you seem to be the only one who actually gives a sh*t. Aparently Winamp does't read their own Forums.

Do u mean uploaded or reviewed? If u mean reviewed, ur gonna have 2 wait 4 a while because the reviewere here r slow. Cant really do anything about that. If its upload problems ur having, be a little patient, because it takes a while 4 a big skin file 2 be uploaded.

Are you getting any kind of error messages back from Winamp?

I do know that you must upload a .wsz file (which is simply a renamed zip). Also, no spaces or unusual characters in either your either your skin name or any of the files inside the zip.

And some days, Nullsoft just plain has database problems. Give it a day or two and try again.

Or, you could try to submit over here instead. You won't get the massive amount of hits that you might get in the winamp skin section, but you'll be moderately assured a more fair star rating.

Ok, so I submitted 3 skins and they uploaded fine but it has been over a month and they haven't been approved yet. How long do you usually have to wait, or how do i know if they've been refused?

4-6 weeks depending on the load.

If you have problmes dig out their component IDs and a Skin Guy can look into it

What he said, plus when they are accepted you will get a nice love letter from Mike the Llama telling you, providing the email address u have on your user profile is current.

If they are rejected for some reason, you'll get a hate mail letter telling you why.
