MIDI to WAV

I am trying to convert MIDI files to WAV. I have followed all the instuctions I have found so are here at Winamp. I can covert the files however, when I go to play them as .wav I get no sound. Does any one have and idea what I'm doing wrong?

You mean these instructions?

MID to WAV 1 | MID to WAV 2

And, if you were using DiskWriter Output (which is one of the available methods described in the above links), you definitely switched back to one of WaveOut or DirectSound Output Plugin afterwards?

Yes, they were the directions I used. Everything appears correct and when I play a MIDI on Winamp it is recorded in my specified dir and appears as a .wav file. Everything looks completely normal however when I now bring that new .wav file back into Winamp or Windows Media Player and execute it to play it plays as it normally would but I get no sound using either player. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
