WMA problems

Does anyone know how to make winamp run WMA files under win98?

I read somewhere that WMAv8 is not supported by winamp but I did get to run those files under winXP with the same version of winamp and the same plugins (winamp278_full).

If it's any help, the WMA does work under win98 if I use the media player.

WMAv8 does not work in Winamp under 9X.
