Multispeakers
I have a trouble using my surround speakears with winamp. I have tried direct sound output but it doesn't seem to work. The problem actually is not only with winamp, after installing winamp3, all of my programs started to use only front 2 speakers. I unisntalled it and started using winamp 2.78 but nothing changed. As I mentioned choosing Direct Output does not work. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?
( I have a SBLive! sound card and I am using WinXP, and i have updated the latest drivers. My speaker settings are set to surround speakers, but that doesn't work too.) |

Surround Speakers aren't working
I had the same problem with my surround speakers in WinAmp. As suggested my sawg I downloaded and install the plug-in upgrade, but WinAmp still doesn't pipe sound to my rear speakers. Other media players (i.e. Windows Media Player) are able to do this however, therefore I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong with my soundcard drivers. I'm using SB PCI 64. And like the guy before me, this all happened after installing and uninstalling WinAmp3. For all help, thanks!
