Not exactly an ad, but when I saw it at the store I had to get it
Here's a preview, use the linked image to see a close-up(you have to see the close-up!).
http://209.66.18.178/gixgideabigif.gif I got this Rubik's Cube knock-off at a D.E. Jones in S. Jersey -=Gonzotek=- But I'm feeling much better now. |

That's an incredibly tough choice. There used to be a series of ads for an ad firm posted in the Toronto subway system that were really good. For nonprint ads, it'd would probably be the Polar Ice vodka commercials.

I don't know what this is an ad for, but it's on a bilboard, so that's gotta mean something.

I love the guiness ads on tv, especially the one with horses in the waves and the swimming competition.

one i realy like now (not so special to you im sure) is this one from the mid week pic post by the New York Times june 15 1929
i have the whole issue in near mint, the pages are all lose because it was a folded paper, i bought it for 3 bucks in a thrift store in portland a few months ago, any ways it shows how sex was selling the media even when it was taboo. its sort of a retro view for me, and i like old stuff?? hehehe here it is. oh and btw the front cover is a pic of man o' war wich i thought was pretty cool, the secound page is hoover giving the memorial day address in the arlington cemetery xerxes might like it. |

I also like the "the New Jag Generation" ads, the Carlsberg "bank" ads, and of course: "You want a flake in that, love?" - Classic! |
